I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Interaction Design this April 2009 from Simon Fraser University's (SFU) "School of Interactive Arts and Technology (SIAT)

I have a lot of passion for this field of study and one of my goals is to be able to contribute positively through my work, and I believe design can do that.

Experience

The past 2 years I have worked as an interaction designer in the User Experience Team at SAP Vancouver. I have completed an 8-month co-op work experience with Business Objects in Vancouver as an Interaction Designer on their User Experience Team in 2007. After that I went straight into a 7-month internship with the design consultancy IDEO as an Interaction Designer in 2008. I worked in their head office location in Palo Alto, California.

Through these experiences I have gained knowledge and practice in:
interface design
user testing
user research
brainstorming
graphic design
some programming (html, css, bit of arduino, a little javascript)
prototyping
communicating ideas and concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders
